RMYM offers Natural Church Development coaching among Friends

In the fall of 2004, RMYM Mary Heathman went to Illinois for training, which has enabled her to become a certified coach for Natural Church Development (NCD). To date, three RMYM churches are participating in the program. It is the hope of the Board of Spiritual Life Ministries that many more churches will try out the proven church health program.

Mary Heathman is Executive Director for Where Grace Abounds, a Denver-based ministry to individuals in conflict with unwanted sexual feelings and/or behavior. She is a recorded Friends minister and a long-time member of FirstDenverFriendsChurch, and is involved in Yearly Meeting leadership through the Board of Spiritual Life Ministries.
